NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY

The industrial and commercial refrigeration sector, as is the case in other high energy-absorbing economic areas, is caught up in growing costs and reducing environmental impact. With the requirement for functionality to be the same, innovation is the only way to go, both technological and in plant management. The session, with the participation of large end users and recognized technology leaders, offers an overview of the different approaches and solutions.

ENERGY BILL: ITALIAN REFRIGERATION AT THE CROSSROADS OF ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION
Round Table

The abnormal increase (due to the rapidity with which it occurred) in energy costs is putting pressure on all businesses that make extensive use of electricity and gas. The entire refrigeration sector chain, from industry to fixed logistics to distribution and trade, is among the major consumers of the former.
Unlike other industrial energy consumers however, logistics, distribution and commerce do not have partial coverage of the deduction of expenses. Refrigerator aisles and cold rooms cannot be switched off, and margins are already under pressure … how long will it be before the higher costs are carried over to consumer prices?
