At REFRIGERA 2023, EPTA<\/strong> will host at its stand an event dedicated to ENOUGH<\/strong><\/a>, the European project<\/strong> which aims at the carbon neutrality of the entire food chain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The ENOUGH project<\/strong> is funded by the research and innovation programme of the European Union Horizon project 2020<\/strong> and coordinated by SINTEF Ocean<\/strong> in Norway. It proposes to provide guidelines<\/strong> and technical, <\/strong>financial and political tools<\/strong>, to reduce the carbon footprint<\/em><\/strong> of the food sector, a target that concerns to a great extent the refrigeration<\/strong> sector: of the 20-40% of the total global emissions of greenhouse gases <\/strong>from food systems<\/strong>, 70%<\/strong> is generated specifically from temperature-controlled food preservation technologies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

EPTA<\/strong> comes into play and is in the front line for ENOUGH<\/strong>, aiming – thanks to its innovative technologies<\/strong> – at reducing the environmental<\/strong> impact of the processes<\/strong> which involve the cold chain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As ENOUGH<\/strong> Official Partner, on Wednesday 8th November<\/strong>, EPTA<\/strong> will host at its<\/strong> booth at REFRIGERA 2023 (Hall<\/strong> 30 – Booth C12-D13-D12-E13)<\/strong>, the Official Event<\/strong> dedicated to the European project, with important guests from Universit\u00e0 di Udine and CNR (see deatils below).<\/p>\n
