The new iQx – the next motor generation by EBM-PAPST – will be presented at REFRIGERA 2025

EBM-PAPST will once again participate as an exhibitor at the 2025 edition of REFRIGERA.

At this year’s edition, the company will present iQx, its brand new motor for application in bottle coolers, display cases, condensing units, island freezers, fruit & vegetable displays and many others.

Universally applicable, efficient and durable, iQx guarantees the maximum flexibility, efficiency, freshness and energy saving.

Certified with all major international approvals (UL, CSA, VDE, CCC), iQx has a wide input voltage range for broad application coverage 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz.

It is approved for use with flammable refrigerants according to EN 60335-2-89 and assures a motor efficiency up to 68%. Easy to retrofit with multiple installation options, iQx offers two speed settings, proven reliability with extended service life and IP65 protection class.

Other funcions such as ROD Reverse On Demand and ROS Reverse on Start can be requested in option.

The new impellers made by composite material can easily replace traditional metal impellers, as they have the same mechanical interface. They guarantee higher efficiency up to 6% in comparison with conventional metal impellers and their excellent aerodynamic design reduces the noise emissions up to -8dB(A).
