The European project ENOUGH at REFRIGERA 2023 with EPTA

The European project ENOUGH at REFRIGERA 2023 with EPTA

At REFRIGERA 2023, EPTA will host at its stand an event dedicated to ENOUGH, the European project which aims at the carbon neutrality of the entire food chain.

The ENOUGH project is funded by the research and innovation programme of the European Union Horizon project 2020 and coordinated by SINTEF Ocean in Norway. It proposes to provide guidelines and technical, financial and political tools, to reduce the carbon footprint of the food sector, a target that concerns to a great extent the refrigeration sector: of the 20-40% of the total global emissions of greenhouse gases from food systems, 70% is generated specifically from temperature-controlled food preservation technologies.

EPTA comes into play and is in the front line for ENOUGH, aiming – thanks to its innovative technologies – at reducing the environmental impact of the processes which involve the cold chain.

As ENOUGH Official Partner, on Wednesday 8th November, EPTA will host at its booth at REFRIGERA 2023 (Hall 30 – Booth C12-D13-D12-E13), the Official Event dedicated to the European project, with important guests from Università di Udine and CNR (see deatils below).
